In Memoriam: First Canadian Grand Prior journeys on to meet the Lord (April 2019)

Gordon John George Ward, Ph.D (June 1, 1961 - April 19, 2019) was appointed the first Grand Prior of the Grand Priory of Canada of the Order and continued in that post until his health necessitated his leaving the office in question.
After a period of very positive recuperation, Gordon passed away suddenly, leaving to mourn, his three children Emma (Ken), Samuel, and Hannah, his mother Cora Ward and sister Sherlyn Ludwig. Gordon loved and kept in close contact with his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He dedicated his life to the study of health and wellness earning a Ph.D in natural medicine, a diploma in communication and operating his own business, Canadian Hyperbarics. Proudly earning a knighthood, and certification including a Medical Device License, Application Indicating the Researched Indications for Treatment with HBO, and Application Indicating the Models of Barotech Inc Hyperbaric Chambers.
Gordon made a lasting impression on the lives of everyone he met. We are not surprised but overwhelmed with appreciation of all the people who have shared their story of how Gordon touched their lives. May he rest in peace.
